***Before I explain anything else, I urge you to call your state Senator and Representatives to support S.424 and H3509 (SC Reasserts her soverignty under 10th Amendment):

Let them know in no uncertain terms you want them them to vote YES so that they respect not only this state's Constitution but also the US Constitution***

This site is being developed with the sole purpose (for now at least) of trying to determine if there is any interest in this great state of South Carolina in reorganizing the constitutionally mandated militia.

Article I Section 8 of the US Constitution states "Congress shall have the power... To provide for calling forth the Militia to execute the Laws of the Union, suppress Insurrections and repel Invasions; To provide for organizing, arming, and disciplining the Militia, and for governing such Part of them as may be employed in the Service of the United States, reserving to the States respectively, the Appointment of the Officers, and the Authority of training the Militia according to the discipline prescribed by Congress;"

Congress has failed us here.  As easy as it is to blame others, We, the People, have to look no further than the mirror when casting fault.  We have condoned Congress' failure and have, up to this point, done nothing to rectify the situation.

Instead we have our government trying to provide for our security and in the process building up a police state.  This site is not about overthrow of the US government.  It is about We the People protecting our nation under the mandate of the US Constitution.  In colonial times, all able bodied males were required to have a firearm and be ready willing and able to protect his state.  That should be the case today.  If you are interested in joining a "Citizen Homeland Security Association", contact me below.

If you do not think we have a problem, you really need to read PAGE TWO.
